The dual action formula of Coloxyl with senna acts to soften stools and stimulate the bowel, providing fast constipation relief within 6-12 hours. It contains docusate sodium which acts as a stool softener, while senna stimulates the bowel to help push the stool out.
Each tablet contains:
Docusate Sodium 50mg,
Total Sennosides (calculated as Sennoside B) 8mg
Adults: Take 1 or 2 tablets at night, increase up to 4 tablets if required.
Warnings: Drink plenty of water and increase fibre in diet. Prolonged use of any laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence. Consult your doctor if constipation persists.
